Mondays with mad potential! Here’s why we think Mondays have magic when it comes to creating the lifestyle we want. A week of goal-crushing. If we want the most from our workouts, they have to be habit instead of chance.  Instead of squeezing it in when there’s time (because let’s be serious…there’s always something else we could think of doing), scheduling a start-of-the-week workout makes us way more likely to make fitness - and goal-crushing in general - a priority all week long. The slippery slope factor. Have an intense weekend of BBQs and cocktails?  Cheers to that - weekends are for good times! Postponing a return to workouts makes us more likely to talk ourselves out of fitness all week long…”I’ll get back there next week when I’ve eaten a little better/feel less bloated/have more energy…” Sound familiar?  We love nipping it in the bud and locking that Monday workout in, guilt-free and ready to rock. Bring on the week! Feel-good endorphins from crushing a Monday workout give us a more positive outlook on the day and week ahead. Asparagus Salad Recipe form Lavinia Todor Ingredients: 2 lbs jumbo asparagus ¼ cup pesto (more to taste) Topper options: Cooked, crumbled bacon Cooked peas Cooked edamame Graded romano cheese (or cheese of choice) MAKE IT HAPPEN: Peel asparagus into noodles using a grater, or thinly slice into long strips. In a medium pan sauté asparagus for a minute or so. You want them to still be crispy. Add to individual bowls, mix in pesto to taste and add preferred toppers....

Pear Bake Recipe from Lavinia Todor Ingredients: Pear(s) Coconut oil Cinnamon Honey For serving: Yogurt Fruits Granola MAKE IT HAPPEN: Set oven to 350. Slice pear into thin slices. Leave about ¼ inch at the bottom unsliced. Pour a little coconut oil between slices. Sprinkle cinnamon and honey over the top. Bake for 30-40 min. Serve with yogurt. Garnish with granola, nut mix and fruits....

Random acts of no booze and why we love it. Across the board, Revvers are a crew of people who love to crush.  As business partners, Ange and I like to challenge each other to find ways to be at our most energized, creative and resilient. We know that - generally speaking - when the cocktails flow, we’re not at the top of our game.  This is why we launch our own dry-zones from time to time, and why we’re  sharing this concept with you during Rebellion. Here are our top reasons for laying off the booze. Health.  Here’s a shocker - drinking is a leading cancer risk. We put so much work into eating and living well that cutting back and occasionally eliminating the booze is a no-brainer. Hangovers.  Life without dehydration, headaches, 6 am cravings for strong coffee and a bacon double cheeseburgers? We don’t know anyone who wishes they had more hangovers in their life. Hangxiety.  Putting our feet up with a cocktail at the end of the day may feel like the perfect way to quell anxiety, but the opposite is true.  Inhibitions are lower so you may wake up with texters’ remorse but there’s also a lot of science to back up the hangover jitters.  While the body works to metabolize your drinks, blood sugar drops, which can lead to feelings of nervousness.  Sounds like a vicious circle,huh? Clear skin. Alcohol dehydrates us, leaving our skin looking gaunt and dry.  It also causes inflammation in the body overall, which can show up on our skin as red blotchiness. What? Oh right, memory.  Booze messes with memory to the max....
