We get asked for fabulous, clean-eating breakfast and pre-Rev snack recipes all the time, and this granola recipe is a perfect solution for both.
We love adding this to a sliced banana for an awesome pre-RevMIX energy kick, but you can also eat it plain as a snack on the go…it’s that delicious.
Make it happen:
Preheat oven to 275 and prep your baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl:
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup raw pepita seeds (pumpkin)
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped raw almonds
1/2 cup chopped raw pecans
1/2 cup chopped raw cashews
1/2 cup of almond flour or almond meal (whip your almonds in a blender or food processor until it forms fine crumb-like texture.)
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp Vanilla
Sea salt
Combine well. Spread onto baking sheet and press firmly into a half-inch layer. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, rotating once or twice. Cool before adding to glass jar.
