Alright revNATION, we hear you loud and clear!  Some of you have a bad case of the PSBs, and who can blame you?  We’d be lying if we said that we aren’t also pining for the days of sticker boards and crazy Shred-season energy. Revkor Shred runs 8 weeks long for a reason: so that healthy habits become a lifestyle.  Hanging on to that lifestyle though isn’t easy, but guess what?  You’re tough stuff, and you can do it. If you think you’re the only one who’s fallen off the Shred-rails, guess again.  Does this sound familiar? But what’s all that fitness awesomeness without balanced living?  What’s summer without the ice cream truck, a pool-side margarita, a burger off the grill? Summers are SHORT so we soak it up - dock-side and deck-side - grilling good eats and cocktailing. A Day in the Life of a Rebel

A peek into our kitchens. For some of us, eating real, wholesome food is brand new, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. Our 8 week challenges support us in making balanced and easy choices to eat more whole, healthy, delicious food.  Plain and simple!  We’re making changes here to last a lifetime and letting go of the idea of temporary fixes like diets. We wanted to give you a peek into our kitchens so you can see that we’re not living off kale smoothies and kombucha.  We’re also not protein-guzzling meatheads.  We’re just eating REAL food that’s yummy as sh*t. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REBEL: (We took a typical work-day with an evening workout for this example) Rise and shine!  We love lemon water to wake up. People say it’s good for your belly, skin, energy, digestion…the list goes on.  Who really knows?!  It’s refreshing AF. While whipping together our favourite breakie (2 pancake recipes to choose from: find Ange’s Power Pancakes and Erin’s recipe here) we heat the kettle for morning tea or a pour-over coffee. We try to sit and savour breakfast phone-free. This is a great time to bust out your Daily 8 before all hell breaks loose with the day’s insanity.  Another lemon water gets knocked back before the office/studio. Mid-morning, we love having a simple snack. There’s no reason for food to be complicated…we share some thoughts here on Crushing Snacks! Welcome to Revkor™ – a note from Angela

Angela Rivard is the founder of Revkor™. She runs her London Market studio in London, Ontario and continues to develop the business with her partner Erin. Her passion for fitness and her love for Revkor™ is the foundation of the company…just ask her members! Hi revNATION! So here we are, launching into the next generation of FLX. Just over two years ago, I was opening the doors to my little studio in London, where we had just a handful of systems and one sequence - FLXyoga.  Nothing could have prepared me for the kind of response I would get for this workout. I knew how FLXyoga made me feel, but seeing how it made my students feel - that’s when I got really revved up to make things happen. My first partner Ashley was next to me when we faced the Dragons.  While no longer technically part of the business, Ashley is still a huge part of our world, even there for midnight brainstorms when Erin and I are renaming the company! Which brings me to Erin.  We’re really not sure how our two worlds collided.  Erin happened to move to Cambridge the week that my FLX systems were installed at Moksha Yoga Cambridge.  A Moksha teacher, writer and business builder, Erin immediately fell in love with FLX and contacted me for a magazine interview to help gain some attention for FLX.  We clicked instantly and formed a new partnership in 2014.  While we didn’t gain an investor on the show, Erin helped me see that we didn’t need one.  Together we feel ready to take on just about anything, and...
