Loaded Dates We’ve all been on one of those dates where we’re sitting across from that person we had high hopes for. It all sounded like a perfect match until you find out they’re in between jobs, sleeping on their grandma’s couch, and spent the last hour giving you way TMI about their last three exes. Well this is a way more satisfying kind of loaded date. If you crave chocolate and sweet treats like we do, you’re gonna love a night in with a hot tea, Netflix, and a few of these bad-boys. HP Curl Fries + Egg Breakkie!

HP Curl Fries + Egg Breakkie You’ve gotta be a Korboarder to get it ;). Give your guns the dream recovery breakfast!  WABAM. Recipe and photo from Lavinia Todor MAKE IT HAPPEN Ingredients: 2 large sweet potatoes 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp olive oil 1 tsp sea salt ⅛ tsp garlic powder ⅛ tsp onion powder Directions: Preheat oven to 400. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Use spiralizer to create the sweet potato curls (you can often buy sweet potato noodles in the produce section now! Booyah!) Mix together seasoning ingredients in large bowl and toss with sweet potato. Spread evenly on baking sheet. Bake for  about 15 minutes, remove from oven and flip, then place back in the oven for 15 minutes, or until they start to become crispy in places. Serve with a fried fresh egg - we love a duck egg!  Load the plate up with fresh chopped veggies and WABAM! A killer weekend breakfast after a hard-core morning...

Protein-Packed Tuna Cakes

TUNA AVOCADO CAKES Recipe shared bye Lavinia Todor Serves: 6 cakes Ingredients: 2 10 ounce cans of tuna 1 ripe avocado, mashed ⅓ cup almond flour ¼ cup homemade mayo 1 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp pepper flakes 1 tsp Flavor God pizza seasoning (optional) Fresh handful of green onion MAKE IT HAPPEN: In a bowl, add the tuna, mashed avocado, almond flour, mayo, nutritional yeast, green onion, seasoning (of choice) and pepper. Mix well with a fork, combing all ingredients together. Place the bowl in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Heat a pan or skillet and grease well with olive oil. Scoop some of the tuna mixture and form into patties and begin cooking them for about 5 minutes on each side. Serve with of zucchini noodles. Great on top of a grain bowl, or salad with some veggies and a light dressing. Enjoy! Note: *Will stay good in fridge for 1-2 days but taste best day...

Raw Crunch Salad Recipe from Lavinia Todor Ingredients: 1 broccoli, chopped into small florets 2-3 carrots, shredded (use a julienne peeler, mandolin or grater) 2-3 kale leaves, thinly chopped ½ cauliflower, chopped into small florets ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped ¼ cup almonds, chopped (or raw walnuts)(optional) 1tbsp poppy seeds 3-4 tbsp cranberries (naturally dried, unsweetened or fresh pomegranate seeds) Salad dressing (or use your own fave) 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated (optional) ½ tbsp oregano,dried (or 1 tbsp fresh leaves) 1-2 lemons (3 tbsp juice and ½ tsp zest) 2 tbsp olive oil 1-2 tsp honey ¼ tsp salt Pepper MAKE IT HAPPEN: In a bowl whisk olive oil, lemon juice, salt, honey, oregano, ginger and black pepper. * for best taste refrigerate for 1-2 hours so that the dressing blends in well. In a large bowl add all the chopped and shredded veggies. Top with almonds (if using), poppy seeds, and all of the dressing. Toss well until everything is coated in the dressing. Transfer to plates and serve....

We love cold brew and smoothies so much, we’re giving you two to choose from!  One comes from Lavinia, one comes from Erin. Try them both then make your own combo!  A killer way to get energy and recovery all in one shot. Cold Brew Smoothie #1: Lavi! 8 oz cold brew 1 scoop plant-based chocolate protein 1 frozen banana 2 dates ½ cup frozen cauliflower* ¼ cup almond milk Pink Himalayan salt Cinnamon BLEND AND CRUSH! *Not a typo…really cauliflower!  I steam my caulk then freeze for a cold and creamy smoothie!
