If you’ve woken up with a red-wine moustache, you definitely need this little glass of magic.  Beets are touted as a tonic for the liver and experts say they purify the blood, give us energy, and are full of good stuff like potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, vitamins A, B & C, beta-carotene, beta-cyanine and folic acid.

Make it happen:

Whip 1 beet, a bunch of beet greens, half a cucumber, a celery stalk, and half of a whole lemon (no rind - obvi!) with a little bit of ice in your blender. A Blentec or Vitamix will do the best job of pulverizing your beets.

Voila!  Gives you the boost of coffee while making your liver and your belly super happy and healthy.
