It’s a marathon. It’s about living well forever, not just for 8 weeks. Most Revvers know about our Balls + Steam story.  We already dug deep to find the balls to start this challenge, and we keep on finding the guts and courage each week as we set new goals and challenges, right? Big dreams and lofty goals are nothing without the STEAM to see them through. Over the years we’ve learned that there’s always a point in an 8 Week Challenge where Revvers need and deserve a hardcore RESET - a little reminder that it’s not supposed to be easy; it’s gonna take some perseverance to stay the course. Build “STEAM Force” Muscle. Sometimes finding the STEAM to truck along isn’t so hard - other times it feels damn near impossible.  Life can be unpredictable and challenges in so many different ways - here are some tips to help. Rebel tricks. RESET. We choose to RESET any time we need!  Revisit goals always. STAY COOL: We get this idea that when we choose positivity for ourselves, others will think this is awesome. Not so. Intentionally or not, people may try and stand in our way. Remember that this is about them, not us. And it’s ok to hang out less with people who aren’t on board. REBEL-LOVE. A Rebel needs care!  Nourish yourself with rest, alone-time, and awesome food (not to mention massages, facials…!). BE POSITIVE. We try to notice if our language and energy becomes negative - that’s when we know we need a serious Reset.  Bad vibes breed more of the same, and we try and take responsibility.  That positive boost isn’t easy to find....

We can do a lot more than we think. Each week we’ve highlighted a hardcore Rebel truth.  As we head into Week 4, let’s recap, superstars! WEEK ONE: The TAKE-BACK! The greatest successes are born out of passion. We took our power back… instead of focusing on ways others think we should look, feel and act, we highlighted reasons to crush that resonate with us. WEEK TWO: The GRIND! The road to great success is paved with HARD WORK.  We accepted this hardcore truth and embraced the challenge. WEEK THREE: The ZONE!   Those who succeed develop the ability to focus and drown out the doubts.  It’s up to us to keep our eye on the prize. In WEEK FOUR, our Rebel truth is this: Crushing goals requires THE GUTS to face fears. Being GUTSY is the ability to turn toward risk and say, I’VE GOT THIS. There is nothing wrong with fear, in fact we’d be pretty careless if we weren’t afraid of anything.  Doubting ourselves is a good sign that we’re not arrogant, that we operate with purpose and integrity.  Fear is a sign that we have a choice to make, and the right choice could be the difference between status quo or a goal crushed beyond belief, so as Rebels we train ourselves to appreciate fear - it’s a chance to make huge things happen. Eye on the prize. In Week Two we got real about this Rebel truth: The road to great success is paved with HARD WORK…for life. As we tackle Week Three, our goal is to get into the unstoppable goal-crushing mode we call The Zone. Why? Because this is another guaranteed fact: Those who succeed develop the ability to focus and drown out the doubts. Hopefully in Week Two we got right into the mindset of The Grind.  Bring it on! Nothing can stop us.  Except for some of these…any sound familiar? Work is getting pretty busy, I’ll have to press The Reset next week. I’m just not feeling the results I want, it’s easier to just be “realistic” and tone down my efforts. My friends tell me I’m obsessed with my workouts, maybe I should ease off. I’m exhausted. Life is just too busy for all this. Maybe I’m not such a Rebel after all. Step One: Climb the hurdles. We get into The Zone by pushing past our doubts and choosing to become the person who achieves our goals. We think we’re the only one with a perpetual reel of discouraging dialogue going through our minds, but guess what?  It’s there for everyone.  From Oprah to Gretzky, we’re pretty sure we won’t find anyone who doesn’t battle that doubting voice inside. Busy? This is what last week’s GRIND SWITCH is for!  The reality is we have to TRY harder to make space for ourselves. Discouraged?  We all feel it from time to time.  Listen to the Bandits! Balls + Steam isn’t the only one having a birthday!  This week, one of our hardcore Revvers Brooks celebrated her birthday in true revFAM style…she brought in these super-clean treats for the whole studio crew!  Beyond delicious and a perfect share for this week!  These no-bake balls were so delicious, we insisted she not keep the recipe all to herself. Brooks’ No-Bake revFAM Protein Bites MAKE IT HAPPEN: 2/3 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup ground flax meal 1/2 cup chocolate chips 2 tbsp honey 1 cup oats Mix, roll into 1.5 inch balls, refrigerate!  How easy is that?...

The secret recipe for success, and you happen to have it. In the early summer of 2015, Ange and I were about two days into one of our quarterly work retreats.  Sitting on the back deck of our of our Revver’s beach-side homes, we were in heaven!  Three days to dream HUGE without any limits.  Where could we take Revkor? It was on this Grand Bend trip that we developed the strategy to move our growing London-based company to a franchise.  We had lofty goals and were having a blast figuring out how to tackle them. Angela’s new partner Al joined us for dinner on our second night.  This was one of my first times meeting him, and I was excited to learn that Ange had connected with such a bright, driven entrepreneur.  We opened good wine and settled in for a fun night of start-up themed chats. Based on my work with so many business owners, Al wanted to know: what did I think the magic recipe was?  What made the difference between average and outstanding?  What did I see in Ange when we first met that set her apart?  My answer came to me instantly, and was inspired by every badass change-agent I know.  The magic?
