HP Curl Fries + Egg Breakkie You’ve gotta be a Korboarder to get it ;). Give your guns the dream recovery breakfast!  WABAM. Recipe and photo from Lavinia Todor MAKE IT HAPPEN Ingredients: 2 large sweet potatoes 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp olive oil 1 tsp sea salt ⅛ tsp garlic powder ⅛ tsp onion powder Directions: Preheat oven to 400. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Use spiralizer to create the sweet potato curls (you can often buy sweet potato noodles in the produce section now! Booyah!) Mix together seasoning ingredients in large bowl and toss with sweet potato. Spread evenly on baking sheet. Bake for  about 15 minutes, remove from oven and flip, then place back in the oven for 15 minutes, or until they start to become crispy in places. Serve with a fried fresh egg - we love a duck egg!  Load the plate up with fresh chopped veggies and WABAM! A killer weekend breakfast after a hard-core morning...

Dry Espresso Steak Rub and no red flags. I love this recipe share for a few reasons.  First, it comes from my friend Steve Cross - a serious Revver and one of the most hardcore creative renegades we know. Before I give you his killer recipe for one of the best steak rubs going, I’ll use this opportunity to tell you a little story about a huge turning point in my world. A few summers ago, I was hanging with Steve dreaming up big business ideas.  Steve and I first met at one of my favourite places - Monigram Coffee Roasters - and I knew from day one that he was my kind of person.  When you’re a born entrepreneur, most of the world thinks you’re partially insane until one of your good ideas is actually rolling, so Steve and I made good, insane company. I was lamenting about challenging clients and the horrors of dating in your late 30s, when Steve threw out a statement that hit me right in the gut.  When it comes to people and situations, he said, there should be no red flags. NO RED FLAGS? It didn’t even make sense.  At the time, the title on my business card read “Fixer”.  People with floundering businesses hired me to clean their messes so ultimately, I was surrounded by people who struggle to take responsibility or make their own stuff happen.  I thrived on red flags and the challenge of trying turn shit-shows into something spectacular.  Until this day: because something clicked for me.  We know we’re supposed to listen to our gut, but sometimes life gets too noisy.  I had long been confusing...

Most of you are already Revvers and know that when it comes to getting the very best fitness experience, you get what you pay for.  So we’re gonna ask you to share this post and help others re-think their strategy.  Even though resolutions may have slipped through the cracks,  it’s not too late for people to kick the new year off right…it’s Fresh Start February! If you locked into a cheap gym membership in January, join the club.   Market research shows that gym membership sales skyrocket by as much as 40-60% each January.  What happens to that Near Year’s Resolution crowd?  Some studies say that up to 80% of members who purchase a January membership stop attending the gym by mid-February (even though they continue to pay for the rest of their contract). A fact that doesn’t sting too badly, now that most big-box gyms are selling memberships at bargain basement prices.  We’ve even seen them as low as $10 per month! What a deal, right? You can barely get a decent latte for that price! Obvious fact alert: Gyms sell cheap memberships because they know you’re not likely to actually show up.  It’s a numbers game based on high-volume sales.  Most studies show that between 14-18% of people who have a gym membership actually use it, and major fitness facilities count on these stats to keep their business strategy rolling strong.
